Ready to cut loose this summer? You might be dreaming of sunset barbecues, midday drinks with friends, or a special celebration this season. But then you remember you live in a small space. Park models offer about 399 square feet or less of living space, which can make it difficult to party plan. Here are a few tips so you can have your cake and invite your friends to share.
Make Space Sounds so simple, but it really works. When you’re party planning for a small space, you can make the most of your interior space by moving out some of the furniture, knick knacks, or other clutter. Your coffee table is great when there’s just a few people around, but it becomes a major obstacle with more. Remove it and clear your laptop or plants off smaller side tables to make room for party goers to set their drinks.
Extend Your Space The easiest way to host more people is to extend your living space to the outdoors. Use a shade tent, fairy lights, and maybe a fan (for those living tiny in the Arizona Community) to create a cozy space to hang out. Have your guests bring their own camping chairs to make things easy and comfortable.
Plan Your Hangout Spots People tend to gather around snacks and drinks, so be intentional about how you have everything set up. If you don’t want everyone crammed into your home, consider setting up the food outdoors and limiting seating options indoors. If you need people to spread evenly between indoors and out, split up the snacks and chairs appropriately.
Plan Your Snacks
Serve food that requires little prep and fewer dishes. This will make it easier on the party set-up and clean up. Finger foods like caprese salad skewers, pigs in a blanket, or sliders make it easy for guests to grab something as they walk by without having to use large plates and utensils.
Plan Your Drinks The easiest way to plan your drinks is to prepare in bulk. Mix up a tasty sangria, or a classic sweet tea in a large pitcher or cooler before the party starts. You can also set-up a cooler with ice and tell guests to bring their own drinks as well. Set out your beverages with recyclable cups and you’re good to go. Party time!

You’ll need some simple recipes with few ingredients you can craft in your tiny kitchen. Plan your next soiree with […]
